How SunBeam Developments uses personal information in the Customer Portal.

Who is responsible for your information?
SunBeam Developments is the data controller. Privacy enquiries can be sent to kyle@sunbeamdevelopments.com.
Information we use
We use your name, email address, telephone number where supplied, Portal account and login information, vehicle identifiers and specifications, workshop history, performance results, notes and files that SunBeam Developments chooses to publish to your account.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide and secure your Portal account, link you to the correct vehicles, maintain service and workshop records, communicate about our services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and protect SunBeam Developments and its customers. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations.
Who receives it
Authorised SunBeam Developments staff can manage Portal access. We use service providers where necessary to operate the Portal, including Render for hosting, Supabase for database storage, Cloudflare R2 for files, and our configured email provider. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies where required. We do not sell Portal information.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an applicable legal safeguard for the transfer.
How long we keep it
We retain customer and vehicle workshop records while they remain relevant to providing our services and for applicable tax, accounting, warranty, dispute and legal requirements. Portal access and security records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Access can be disabled without deleting workshop records that SunBeam Developments must legitimately retain.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, object to processing, or request portable information. These rights are not absolute where SunBeam Developments has a lawful reason to retain or process information. Contact us at kyle@sunbeamdevelopments.com.

Changes
We will update this notice when the Portal or our use of information changes. The current version will always be available here.
